Dee Finning graduated from Brooks Institute in Santa Barbara, California with a major in Industrial/Scientific Photographic Technology. In 1986 she began her career with the
Department of Defense, Point Mugu, California as a Video Specialist.

In 1996 Virgin Moon was established to provide video services to customers in Government, Corporate and Commercial sectors. Since then we continue to provide high quality services to all our clients.

Dee has won several awards including The Award of Merit for Group Achievement in 1990 and the Sea Range Directorate Employee of the Year award in 1994 both from the Department of the Navy.

In 2003 she was awarded The Communicator Award of Excellence for her involvement in the video
“The Fleet asks, PEO (A) Delivers”.

Most recently, Dee won first place in the 2016 City of Ventura Photography Contest –  Environment People’s Choice Award.

Virgin Moon also supports various non-profit and community service projects by donating our time and services. Past recipients have been; Habitat for Humanity, U.S. Department of Justice, National Drug Court Institute, Ventura County Arts Council and Sherry Grigby’s Documentary “Eyes on Africa” about her charity that delivers thousands of eye glasses to Africa.
